Quartzite

Quartzite is a metamorphic rock formed when sandstone is subjected to high heat and pressure, causing the quartz grains to fuse together. The result is a very hard, dense, and durable rock.

Quartzite is mainly composed of quartz and is highly resistant to weathering and erosion. Because of its strength and attractive appearance, it is commonly used in construction, decorative stone, flooring, and countertops.
