Granite

Granite is a plutonic igneous rock formed by the slow cooling of magma beneath the Earth’s surface. It is mainly composed of quartz, feldspar, and mica, which give it a coarse-grained texture and great hardness.

Because of its durability, granite is widely used in construction, architecture, and ornamental applications, such as countertops, flooring, and monuments.
